But that’s not all. The tour also includes a visit to the Nevada Powerhouse, where you’ll see 8 commercial generators in action. And for those who are interested in the history of the dam, you can visit the historic tour tunnels and ride the original elevator to the top of the dam.
For an even closer look, take a walk through the inspection tunnels at the centre of the dam. From here, you can view the Colorado River through the inspection ventilation shaft. It’s an incredible sight that will leave you with a new appreciation for the power of nature and human ingenuity.
